Revenge is Sweet or isn’t? With all the scandals around the Voice of Holland and various #MeToo’s this satiric film shows a woman who’s taken matters into her own hands. The society depicted shows how institutionalized some prejudices are towards men versus women.
About the film:
Everyone said Cassie (Carey Mulligan) was a promising young woman…until a mysterious event abruptly derailed her future. The film is the directors debut of Emereld Fennel, known for writing and producing the hit-series Killing Eve. The film has won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and many other prizes.
