About the movie
A traveling circus settles in a Hungarian village. The residents marvel at the main attractions, such as the set up skeleton of a whale and a mysterious “Prince”, who tries to get the population in his grip as a true demagogue. The mass manipulated by the Prince unleashes a collective urge for destruction that ultimately leads the town to ruins.
