The rich and romantic sounds of Richard Wagner will open the concert. Katharine Dain, a Dutch-American international renowned soprano, will sing in the ‘Liebestod’. Secondly, unde imber et ignes, a composition especially written for the NSO by Rick van Veldhuizen, will follow. Last but not least, the NSO will perform the powerful Le Sacre du Printemps from Igor Stravinsky. Get carried away by the extraordinary enthusiasm of this young orchestra directed by the talented Manoj Kamps!
