Walk with us across campus during the Campus Walk on Food Chains and learn from Daniela Garcia-Caro how things really are with our food. After all, the power of supermarkets is great and that has far-reaching consequences for people and nature. Can you use your power as a consumer for a healthier food chain, for example by buying directly from a farmer? And can you still have a positive influence without your groceries getting more costly and time consuming? Daniela will give us an insight into eco-philosophy and hopes to inspire to think about our food and local initiatives like our own campus garden.
Daniela Garcia-Caro is a PhD researcher at the Erasmus School of Law, researching the potential of urban agriculture and the role the law can play in the sustainable transition of food systems with the aim of bridging the gap between food systems research, practice, law, and policy.
