Opsteltens youth and upbringing, his time as mayor of Utrecht and his years as Minister of Security and Justice under Rutte I and II are discussed. For us Rotterdammers, the period in which Opstelten was mayor of our city – between 1999 and 2008 – is particularly interesting. On this evening Ivo Opstelten talks about his memories and experiences with biographer Ron Meerhof.
