A great example is Rob Venema from rowing association Skadi. In EM’s new video series The constant factor, he talks about his work and how much he enjoys working with students. “The first time, I found it really strange,” he says in the video coverage. “At first, you think: what on earth is going on here? But after a while, you start to understand it, especially through all the stories students share with you.” By now, he feels completely at home among the students. “It’s actually quite funny. I’ve never experienced this kind of madness at home.”

Do you know someone who plays such an essential role in your student life? We’d love to hear about them! EM is eager to shine a spotlight on these heroes in the new series: The constant factor. Share your story via the form below.
